Haven't noticed any differences so far. Might just be thingies that we can't actually see. You know, stuff people in general don't care about. If something major was going on, I'm sure we would already have known from blogs and gaming sites by now.

it just told me about it 15ish minutes ago, from what i've read online - it doent include the update notes. So its probably just bug fixes, but it takes forever to download, im only at 35% right now and thats after 20 minutes at least.

It's indeed a security fix. And people, don't expect anything big firmware related until the release of 3.00. I bet that's when in-game XMB and Home is added.
