That served more of a purpose for me, though. I mean we get a lot of emulation questions, so it makes sense to divide them up according to platform. This just seems a bit...stupid, really. Most of the discussion in General Gaming goes on in the 'General Gaming Discussion' thread anyway, so having a completely separate forum... Myaa, maybe I'm just being overly anal, but it doesn't make any sense to me.

You're not the only one. I logged in tonight just to find that there were totally unnecessary sections for each of the consoles. Does the General Gaming Discussion thread get so much activity that we needed to split it into console-centric sub-forums?
