One of clients just walked in and handed me a CD in a 5.25" floppy pouch. She said she didn't have a case and wanted to put it in something so she threw it in there. So I scanned it and threw it up on imageshack for laughs. Here is the back of it

Someone should make 5.25 floppies into CD pouches. The floppies themselves, not the sleeves.

I could probably find some old 5 1/4" floppies around if I really looked. It would probably be something like Reader Rabbit.

if i got ddr3 1033 ram, it would work in my mobo that supports ddr2 800 correct?

You'd be bottlenecking the hell out of it. You'd only get ddr2 800 speed. It would work though, I guess.

Upgrade your mobo later. You're only as fast as your slowest part.

thanks.. i knew it would only be 800, just wanted to make sure it would work period at least.

EDIT: on second thought athlon 64 x2 only supports ddr2-800 anyway.... so i guess i should go with a mobo first.

I am also unsure whether to go internal or external.

If I can find a new PSU for an HP Pavilion 751n, I'm turning this old computer I have lying around into a fileserver box. Got 4 old IDE hard drives in there.

If I get this I might take my 300gb IDE drive and buy a 400 or 500gb SATA drive, hell yeah.
