    Default SNES games

When I was younger, I never really got into the whole SNES console, mainly because my parents were too cheap to get me something new. Now that I just play them on emu, I'm trying to find some good games that I might enjoy playing. What games do you guys recommend? I like adventure games the most probably. Anything that requires exploring and/or strategy is also a plus.

    Thanks in advance.

Clock Tower is the first thing that comes to mind.

How do you feel about rpg games?

Also, based on your sig, you might enjoy Super Punch-Out!

I own Super Punch Out already, Final Fantasy 2 and 3, Super Mario World, Killer Instinct. Played some of ALttP, but still haven't beat that yet.

I like RPGs every now and then, but they aren't exactly my cup of tea really.

What's Clock Tower? I never heard of it before.

Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Secret of Mana, Illusion of Gaia, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Earthbound, Act Raiser 2, Terranigma, Chrono Trigger, Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy 6, Lufia 2, Ys 3, Super Mario RPG, etc.
All I can think of on the spot.

Ok, most are RPGs, but they're all good.

Bolded the ones you might like, seeing as you're not an RPG fan.

EDIT: It would help if you'd name a few adventure/exploration games you've liked.

Clock Tower sounds pretty tough. I like a good challenge.

I'll check out what you suggested too Evans, should keep me busy for awhile.

    Super metroid
    Donkey Kong Country(any of em)
    Prince of Persia
    Pocky and Rocky 1 & 2

i might post more as they come to me.

I second this. Also, if you like tactical rpgs like Bahamut Lagoon, you should also check out Front Mission. You can find both with patches already applied in the game master list: http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?t=44462 just scroll down until you see them.

The first five SNES titles that come to mind are Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Final Fantasy IV - VI (V being japanese, so you'll have to download an english patch for it), Secret of Mana, and Super Metroid.

I would start with Zelda: A Link to the Past. I have spent many many hours on that game.

I actually started that game. I had started it about a year ago, but I hated using the damn keyboard to play the game. Since I can use a PS2 controller it's more fun now. I just started completely over though, and just made it to the dark world so far.

out of this world or another world (depending on whether you reside in the US or Europe). the graphics are a little rough but you get used to it quick. i found it pretty hard. it's similar to games like the psx oddworlds or prince of persia.
