Default How do i burn an IMG file

I downloaded (PSX) Star Wars Jedi Power Battles.img but Alcohol 120% doesn't recognise the file. My Nero 8 recognises it, but i've never managed to successfully burn any psx games with it. So is there another programme i can use instead and at what settings or can someone advise me on how to burn with Nero 8.

    Thanxs

You should really have a .ccd file as well, but if the image is only 1 track (data, no cdda) then you can just rename the extension to .iso and burn it with Alcohol or whatever.

the only need to burn the game is to play it on a console, if you're not going to just mount the iamge.

    DOUBLE POSTER!

I use UltraISO, and it seems to work fairly good.

Apparently it messes with the xa and str files, so DON'T use UltraISO when it comes to PSX images. ;]

That was true back in 2005, of UltraISO, WinISO, PowerISO, and MagicISO.

    But that was 2005.

So, maybe they've fixed what was wrong since no one ever reports having any problems with those 4 anymore.

    I really don't know...

I took the advise of SA-X and burnt the file with Imgburn (first time user) but it didn't work (i probably had it on the wrong settings). So i then took the advise of Inferno and renamed the file extension to iso and burnt it with A120% and the game worked on my mod PS1. But i've got no intro sound.
I burnt it at 8x speed with write method DAO/SAO, maybe this is the prob. Can some advise and thanks for the previous help.

I'm guessing it has CDDA then.

Is there no cue or ccd in the folder you got?

No it didn't have one. Do u think thats the reason why there is no intro music?

Yes. Only the data track has been burned to the CD correctly.
