Default Does anyone else prefer demos to album vers?

Does anyone else prefer demos of songs to the final album versions? I love the scratchiness, different sounds, different versions altogether. I feel strange loving them. Am I not the only one though?

    DISCUSS.

/listening to Rammstein demos as posting.

sometimes, the same thing happens to me with live versions, specially when I "overlistened" a song and I know every "frame" by heart and it's "recorded in my mind",when I listen to a demo or a live version,it sounds fresh again.
sometimes,I even wonder why the artist didn't use the demo for the album or didn't perform for the album as good as for the demo,or why the arrangement got changed.

Some demos are amazing, while others fucking suck Megadeth have pretty bad demos, so I never listen to them. Back when I listened to Trivium I prefered their demo stuff to EtI and Ascendancy.

as long as the songs on the demos don't get put on the albums, save for maybe one or two out of five.
