having a game pad work with epsxe?

i just plugged in a aftershock gravis controller.. i checked my hardware and it recognizes it and i do the test to see if the stick works..

but when i try to play with epsxe it doesn't recognize it at all.. is there any solution? thanks

Did you set it up using the Control pad menu?

If it only the analog that's not working, you can either set it up via the config window or press F5 in-game.

I believe there's a certain plug-in to DL, though I'm not sure which one. Try using the config like Ray said. also, if you have set a dead-zone, make it to like... 25. It's been a while since I've done dead zones so I could be wrong.

Try pressing F5 a few times while the game is playing, testing the controller after each try.

Im new on here and i cant find anywhere how to post your own thread. ~_~
Anyways, Im having controller issues that i can't figure out. The problem im having is getting the controller to work with some games. Ex. Valkryie profile my controller will work, but for Suikoden, it wont. Ive installed a bunch of different plugins and configured the controller and nothing works. If anyone can help, id appreciate it.
