Default Crash Team Racing Errors on PSXeven?

    Yup, bad errors at that.
It freezes when you get to the "Press start button screen"
Even when it freezes, you can still hit start, after it plays through tons of unneeded voice tracks playing, that shouldn't be there.
THEN, after you make a new save, and you get ready to play, it does the same thing.

If that isn't bad enough, the graphics aren't rendered correctly on Crash when he is in his cart.

    Please help, I'm running PSXeven.

    Settings:

    - Frame skipping: off

Maybe you should try ePSXe with the attached plugins.

Tried ePSXe before, I still had errors.
The text was darker than it should've been.
Then when you start to play the game, and the tiki comes up and talks to you, it freezes when he comes up.

Please help, I remember playing this game in my childhood, and I loved it.

I got the bin off of this site.

For ePSXe, you have to go to Config > Sound > and enable the SPU IRQ hack.

    Doesn't help.
ePSXe goes to limbo and repeats limbo after a race is finished in first place.
ePSXe doesn't show the text bright enough either.
PSXeven acts like it cycles through all the sounds, and never finishes.
PSXeven has tons of graphical errors.

    Please help.

Try these video plugins with both ePSXe and PSXeven:
    http://www.pbernert.com/gpupete176.zip

And don't forget to enable the SPU IRQ hack.
You may have to go into the sound plugin and enable its SPU IRQ options too.

And if you're not using the latest versions of ePSXe and PSXeven, then get them from here:

    I have the latests versions.

Does psxeven have an option for spu irq hack?
I don't think it would matter, because when the tiki comes up, his mouth doesn't even move.

For PSXeven with Eternal SPU sound plugin, Config > Sound > check SPU IRQ - Wait CPU action.

It's something similar for the P.E.oP.S Sound plugin.

Eternal is the better plugin though.

Enabled it, played the iso, STILL doesn't work.
And still, like before, which is my MAIN problem, everything was rendered incorrectly.
Like, Crash's nose would be above his mouth, since you are looking at him from an angle above him, but his mouth would be above his nose.
    Please help.

    As would I.

But did you also try these video plugins yet?

Yes, I did get those plugins.
    Screeny:

Look at the mouth, that part is rendered wrong.
Up at the top, 2 items are missing by the "x0" text.
And the x0 text isn't bright enough.
