Default Save States and Memory Cards

Hey, everyone! Just got back into emulating after not doing so for a while. Man things have changed since the old Nesticle days. Well, i got epsx, or what have you, and downloaded Final Fantasy Tactics with it. The game runs completely fine, but for some reason the option to "save state" is black, and im able to click on it, but the option to "load state" is always grey, and im never able to load a state. In fact, when i click on save state, im pretty sure nothing saves anyway, because no files are made. Was I supposed to make a folder? Or is it a setting somewhere that i missed?

Also, I figured there was a built in memory card feature? Maybe I was way off base, but FFT lets me save on a supposed memory card, but that doesnt create a file anywhere either, and it doesnt show up when I try to load it.

Both ways, I cant save, and its a pretty big bummer. Can I please get some help?

    -Patrick

Open the emu, go into Config>Mem card, then browse and select a folder/name/whatever, and click ok. When you play, it SHOULD create one. If not, I'll upload one for you.

As for savestates... No idea why they don't work, but you should find a sstates and memcards folder in your ePSXe one.
