    Default Tekken Force Mode

for a long time now, i, for some reason, have wondered about how other gamers felt about tekken's force mode and tekken 5's devil within.
to be honest, the main reason i got tekken 3 and 4 was for the force mode and devil within in 5. also, i haven't really read or seen any reviews that did more than just mentioning force mode or devil within.
so i'm just kinda curious on other gamers' opinions on force mode and devil within.

I don't think I've played tekken since the PSX, and some recent arcade versions. *Shrugs*

I personally only buy Tekken games for the Arcade and multiplayer modes. Force mode is ok, but it's nothing compared to Mortal Kombat's Konquest (I forget whether that was Deadly Aliance or Deception)

To my mind, Force Mode in T3 was a lame Streets of Rage knockoff with no lasting power. I only played through it multiple times in order to unlock Doctor Boskonovitch, then never touched it again.

Devil Within was lame too. It was way more fleshed out than Force Mode was, but it was still left me feeling underwhelmed. That said, I played this one quite a bit when I was bored, for one reason or another.

I guess I didn't expect either of those games to be anything special, and in that respect I wasn't disappointed.

any opinions on exactly what made force mode lame, or better yet, what anyone would've liked to see coming from it?
or how about t4's. personally, i liked that one the most.
yeah, i know. more pointless questions within a pointless thread.
sorry, just doing some research . any replies would help a lot. thanks in advance and thanks to you guys who gave opinions.

I didn't care that much for the Force mode on Tekken 3 because it was just too easy (I went through the entire thing without being touched playing as Gon...). I can't really comment on the other versions, because it's been so long since I've played Tekken 4 or 5.

Force mode just isn't that entertaining IMO, really, that's as in depth as I can go right now since it's been like a year since I last touched that mode.

I thought it was a mediocre idea and got boring after a while.

Tekken ball mode is where it's at.

^Amen to That, Tekken ball pwns other Tekken minigames.

But, since we're talking about Force...

Never really played it. Saw people playing but never really appealed to me.
