    Default Problem playing on SSF

I'm trying to play NiGHTS into Dreams on SSF 008 Alpha R10. I'm using the latest Daemon Tools as a virtual cd drive. The Nights zip file I got has the music tracks, an .ISO file, and a .CUE file. I can mount the ISO file but when I try to run it the Saturn emulator starts up and then the SEGA screen comes up like the game is running then the screen will be black for a little while then an Error message pops up saying "_DriveStatus_Play() error. Fatal error." and when I try to mount the .CUE file, I get a message from the Daemon tools program saying "Unable to mount image. File not accessible." There were a few times where I got the game to work on the .ISO file by going to different version of SSF but once I died in the game it would freeze and when I restarted the same error would pop up again but now even if I change the version I still get the error. I appreciate any help you can give. Thanks in advance.

What format are the audio files? Are they .mp3? If they are you'll need to convert them to wave before mounting the ISO on Daemon Tools

& Can you post the cue here please? (right click -> Open wiht -> notepad) Copy and paste the contents.

Yep as long as they're named correctly, as stated in the cue then all should be good now.

Hmmm well the same error is still popping up when I try to run it. I've doubled checked all the file names and they match up with the cue file. I've unmounted and remounted the iso after I converted the music files as well, but SSF still comes up with the "_DriveStatus_Play() error. Fatal error." message. :/

Edit: Scratch that. its working now... to an extent... now I have a new problem. during the opening menu screens and stuff the music doesn't play (I think there's music... its my first time playing it) thats not that big of a deal... once the game starts the music starts to play. but the big problem is that I play through the first level and when I beat it it does the little stage clear sequence and then it won't go to the next level. its just stuck on that screen. its not frozen because it has the Jester guy just spinning but it won't move on. I pushed all the buttons and stuff and still nothing... anyone know how to fix it?

Maybe using the latest version of SSF will work?

    Googled and found this:

But hey, I've got it to work. Just need to press the Start Button a couple of times before it enters ingame :plain: strange or not, I've got it to work with this.

    Now I'm getting a 404 error too.

But it doesn't matter since I told you what it said to do:

"But hey, I've got it to work. Just need to press the Start Button a couple of times before it enters ingame :plain: strange or not, I've got it to work with this."

Hmmm... well its starting up fine now. Its just that it still doesn't help with the part where it won't go to the next level.

    If I were you I'd try another ISO, that's BIN/CUE not ISO/MP3 shit. ;]
