CMM is actually right. Not that much different at all. I'd pay osmehting like 4 dollars for a pack of cigarettes which cost 12 dollars here. It's insane.

The exchange rate's similar right now but there are a ton of variables to take into account, such as tax and the cost of shipping products to the country in the first place (may not apply to Coke though) as well as bit of good ol' fashioned price gouging just to be on the safe side. Pretty much the same reason we have to pay the equivalent of $80-90 USD for a $50 USD game over here. Three times the price for a pack of cigarettes is insane, though. Not sure what the tobacco laws are like in Australia but I would wager a lot of that increase is the result of tax and/or import duty.
