    Default Underrated/Unappreciated Movies

I made a thread like this in the game section for games. I think movies deserve a thread like this too, as there are just as many underrated movies as games.

My first pick would be Grandmas Boy.

It's slowly getting popular, but it was so underrated and still kind of is. It's hilarious. Adam Sandler's screw had their own movie and it was just as good as any of his. Not a classic like his, but great to watch. I was stoned when I first watched it and I never laughed so hard in my life. I've watched it plenty of times sober, as well as many of my friends and they love it. Defiantly a cool movie. But didn't last long in theaters or gets heard of enough. =D

Is this supposed to be the start of a joke about Nirvana being in a thread about underrated things? If so, I get it.

Slacker, though. I've only barely managed to hear of it once, and it's pretty good.

I know it is popular in Korea and whatnot, but I was going for around here. I have seen the whole series too. Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance has some of the best scenes of all time. That retarded guy makes the movie.

Don't know where you're getting at, but I like your quote. It's red hot chili peppers, Parallel Universe, right?

The Ref is an underrated movie. It's christmas theme, but not neccesarily a family movie. Lots of language and stuff but it's hilarious. It has some good actors, if you haven't watched it, go buy it or whatever. It's awesome.

Requiem for a Dream and Spun. Both are extremely trippy, and are very awesome movies. They make your mind spin and your eyes bleed. I love the movies that make you think, "What the fuck...?!" afterwards.

Freeway 2: Confessions of a trickbaby. Probably my second favourite movie, and it has a horrible IMDB rating. Then, Terminator's rating is really good, so I suppose that might a good thing.

    Go watch it. Now.

    Michael Ballack, he scores free-kicks.
He's got black hair, and he's german.
    Michael Ballack, trains in paddocks.
in his spare time, HE FARMS HADDOCKS!
Watch me play Super C, guys!!

Big Trouble in Little China: very funny movie, I believe it's one of the firsts from Kurt Russel!

City Hunter: Yes, nobody knew about this movie until someone posted on Youtube the scene with the Street Fighter joke!

The Fountain and Pi. Two masterpieces of art that rarely if ever get mentioned.

    CITY HUNTER!

    "Who said that?!"

Man, I love that movie, specially for the cheap effects like the card-guy who bounces on the walls and throws the sharp-poker cards.

I want to get it around here but it's almost impossible to find.
