I like to play on Live, and I think a lot of games can raise their replayability points through online. Though, having to hear screaming immature little kids and so many trash talkers break the game a lot rather than make it.

    *Coughhalo3cough*

RPG's are great though. Some games you may not want to play again for a year or so, but when you do replay it, you get to discover new things, try out different things, and catch up and comprehend things you missed the first time around. It almost re-locks you into it again, like the first time, which is really neat to me

Well, the Fallouts don't have randomly generated towns and stuff. It's easier to get to play the same Fallout game twice than the same NetHack game twice. And everybody knows NetHack never gets boring.

Truly, I played trough MGS a few times, but after that I can never get to the tank battle without passing out. The second one was cool the first time, then all the com chatter and movies were just too much. Sedate Olga, pass out.

I have to concur with Star Wars KotoR, but 2 is better. I like a good menu/upgrade system.

Lately I have been picking up a lot of games I haven't played for years. Fable, Megaman series, Metroids. Most of those just for one play-through.

P.S. Thanks for the Troll. I love their Don King hair.

Champions of Norrath and games of the sort. That is, if you don't mind replaying the same game but with a different type of character.

well did you ever play the third one? i think that one has the best replay value of the three.

For me the one and only game that i still go back to and play sometimes is Zelda : Occarina of Time for N64. I even have that in ROM form and play it all the time. If you havn't played it before go get it ASAP

i'd have to say MGS 2 Substance. i have to say that i've played through it more than ten times. that's before i started collecting the dog tags. and the extra vr missions also kept me playing. the first mgs was sweet the first and maybe the second time through, but anytime after that, going after the tank battle gets boring. i did play through the third many times.
i also played through ff7 and 8 many, many times over. i even got all of aerith's limits.
astro boy for the gba also has replay value imo. just not as much as any of the above.

I never get tired of playing 2D beat-em ups, especially the Street Fighter Alpha series, also Super Mario Kart on the SNES is a brilliant game that I never get bored of, Pro Evolution Soccer (any version) on the PS2 is also a highly addictive game that has amazing replay value. : )
