Solution: find shows from your childhood online. Apparently, the nostalgia trip from Scooby Doo and Johnny Quest is helping my parents stay sane when they have to take care of their grandchild. For me, I only have to watch over her directly when she wants to play either the "puppy game" (Okami) or one of my own children's games. Beyond that, it's my choice, which makes it much easier to watch things with her.

I'm pretty sure most of the affectations are standard for the genre, but I still kinda feel they're a bit more silly than anything. Maybe it's because I'm more typically "bright and happy" bubblegum pop.

I tried that, but either he has no interest in them and just ends up being miserable until I turn it off, or what I remember being a wonderful show when I was a child is ruined forever by how terrible it actually is, and I never want to think about it again. -.-* Although he does enjoy Darkwing Duck, so maybe I'll pop that on after my third viewing of The Tigger Movie today. Can get in one episode before I got to take him back to his mom's.

My wai-fu, among many other wai-fu, and they are my current favorite. What? Too nerdy? Well, I think it is.

I LOVE that song - thanks for posting it.

I can't get enough of A Lone Prayer. After coming off of Persona 3, I didn't think I could like another theme as much as Mass Destruction. I'm still unsure, but I do like this song :p
