Jean Michel Jarre very early stuff (Deserted Palace and Les Granges Brûlées). These were before his finest album, Oxygene (1976) which my old man used to listed to. The early material, errrrr, how can I put this? Weird? Utter contrast to Oxygene, that's for sure. When you consider his first two albums were released back in 1972 and 1973, to Joe Public, it must had sounded like something out of Back to the Future given the pop music of it's time!
