Default Final Fantasy 9 Freezes on Disc 2

Hi, i downloaded my FF9 from emuparadise. I am currently palying FF9 using my PSP. There is no problem with disc 1 however when i reaches disc 2, it freezes at one point of the game. Any help or tips to stop the freeze?

Just to let you know, there aren't that many people here that have experience with PSX emulation on the PSP let alone who have managed to get to disc 2 so a reply may take some time. On a side note, you shouldn't expect that emulator to work properly yet. Just like PC PSX emulators that emulator will be a work in progress for some time. There is high chance that your problem has to do with a problem with the emulator that may not be fixed until the next version of it is released.

No idea but as far as I know, FFIX works perfectly on 3.40 OE-A. You could have a bad eboot of Disc 2 or something.

My friend completed it without any problems on 3.40OE-A.
Where did you cause the game to jam? Is it the sandstorm part?
