The game works on 3.40 OE-A. Either:

    1. You got a bad ISO
    2. You are running too many plugins
    3. You have enabled No-UMD in the recovery menu
    4. The No-UMD is disabled but you don't have a UMD placed in the drive.
    5. You got a corrupt flash1. If all other ISOs/CSOs won't work then go to recovery menu, go to Advanced -> Toggle Flash1 (there must be a USB cable connected from your psp to your PC) and delete config.se in the root of flash1.

    Read 3 and 4 again.
Monster Hunter Freedom doesn't run in NO-UMD emulation as of 3.40OE.

If problems still occur, I recommand running it from the UMD.
