Default New ulver album in the works

Many of you have been waiting for sound, and we are sorry for the silence. We needed to be alone, without the hustle and bustle of the living. We are uncomfortable with the world, the industry and our place. We have been working, sluggishly, well aware we could end up with nothing. Nonetheless we believe we have succeeded in giving our fears some kind of form. SHADOWS OF THE SUN, our 7th full-length album, is finished and will be released October 1st. We feel it is our most personal record to date. Low-key, dark, and tragic. As we are.

    ULVER, Oslo, July 13 2007.

Not sure if I have posted it here, but I am fairly excited about this.

Their stuff varies by each album oddly enough, I mean the two albums I do quite like were perdition city and blood inside, I love "teachings in silence" but people hated that album lol.

I have a coupla albums, none of their early stuff though, so I'm hoping that this is as fun and experimental as the rest. I'll be looking out for it =D

Now this will be a definite win if it's anything like Kveldsanger, but knowing Ulver, that's unlikely. Not a big fan of their experimental discography but I do enjoy it when I'm in the mood. Here's hoping this'll be good.

I've listened to it 5 or so times, and it really is amazing. Probably about the tenth best this year.

4 tracks in and I like it. It's very nice stuff. Less experimental than the other stuff I have, I think I prefer it.
