Exclamation Need help playing FF8 game save!!

Ok my PSX 1.12 is fully setup and works perfectly fine, i've been playing FF9 and FF8 with no problem at all. I downloaded the FF8 game save from Gamefaq:

    http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/save/197343.html

and i wanna be able to use it. I took a long time searching and finally found the tools i need, the game saves are all in .GME format and i downloaded the PSXGameEdit tool to convert it into mcd format (Bleem). I read that PSX emulator will be able to read memory card formats for other emulators so that's wat i did. I loaded the memory card into my emulator by going to the configuration etc, i then tested to see if it works but not loading any game and go straight to the BIOS. Which is when u load ur Playstation emulator and it goes to the "Memory Card" and "CD player" screen. It shows a saved game file inside the memory card so i guess that worked.

Here's the problem, i'm able to see the game save data inside the memory card but when i load my FF8 iso file and tried to load the game from the memory card, it shows "NO Game data" or something like that. I'm stuck and really need help. If i did anything wrong in the process, plz give me a quick guide or tutorial on how to convert or wat i need to do to make the memory card and game save work on my PSX emulator. THX!

If your game is NTSC, and the memcard save is for the PAL version, then it won't work.

Which save file did you get?

And what's the serial number of your game?

i got the 2nd save file which shows this:
All characters and GF at Lv100. Have Zell's team ring the bell, switch to Squall, and go into the Chapel to fight Omega Weapon.
my game is Pal version, i got the patch from Megagames and patched it so i can play it on my emulator.

You'd need somebody like Zorlon to do it for you.

Be easier just to download the NTSC version, especially if you have a high-speed connection.

Or if you want to cheat, use [PEC]:
    http://www.emucheater.com/download.php

Or use the version of PSXMemTool that comes with an FF8 save editor:
    http://psxmemtool.ngemu.com/PSXMemTo....php#downloads

    edit--
Actually PSXMemTool might be able to convert the memcard from ntsc to PAL for you.
