Movies so long as they're cannon or follow a chronological story (to some extent or another) would be perfectly acceptable, in fact one mentioned watching the Animatrix along with The Matrix Trilogy were we to marathon that.. probably a bad example though

What's your taste? Exactly? Because there's a lot I could suggest but it might not be your cup of tea.

Except Durarara!! You should totally watch that. Subbed. They got a shit director for the dub and made some bad casting choices. I mean, Freeman is great as always, but everyone else...ugh.

Just throwing a Steins;Gate recommendation out there. It'd perfect for a marathon, too. It's the kind of series you'll want to watch in one or two sittings.

I can't say what preference I have exactly, so long it has a good plot to say the least..
I will say that Cowboy Bebop, Durarara, Steins;Gate, & Another look like they'd fit the bill.. Also Fooly Cooly

    Much of the same.

I'll throw Black Lagoon out there as well.

I might be the only person not to recommend the Black Lagoon anime...because the manga is worlds better and has much stronger pacing. The anime just drags a lot and has pointless symbolism with those damn white feathers.

A few I can throw out...

    Monster
    Casshern Sins
Code Geass (If you can handle a lot of melodrama and insane pacing)
Princess Tutu (Not nearly as girly as the title suggests)
    Soul Eater
Buso Renkin (Very stupid but kind of the point)
FMA (Both 2003 and Brotherhood, watch 2003 first)
    Romeo X Juliet

Also, second Trinity Blood, personal favorite and I feel the anime is the best version of it. It also looks damned amazing.
