Is it possible you're allowing too many connections with BitComet, causing you're connection to become unstable and dropping out? Try limiting the amount of connections.

Well just start at 200 or something and move from there. If it's still unstable at 200 then just lower it to about 150 and just try to find something that works.

Did you set a limit on your upload/download speeds, that could be stopping your internet, particularly if upload is blocked.

Leave about 10KBps for your upload and Download each.

i've capped my upload at 6K/sec. changed my max global connections to 100 but i'm still getting disconnected. i think i'll switch to utorrent or something but i don't know why bitcomet would be causing the problem. a lot of ppl use it and they can't all be having problems.

    What's your connection like?

If you live in the US: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

If not, then find another site for your country.

max d/l , u/l is supposedly supposed to be 1/8 rated speed...

anywho..... if ur using a linksys router, check what version it is....

the anything b4 v5 doesnt work very well with p2p applications i.e. bittorrent

this problem can be solved using 3d party firmware

I'm not sure what all options are available on current BitComet versions (I haven't updated in ages). But try turning off everything pertaining to DHT in the options. I've had DHT cause my router to drop numerous times (with different clients and settings), and it's only needed if the tracker is down. So you don't always need it hogging connections.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Dunno where you heard that, but that's sorta like based on nothing but personal experience. I'm at ~515 and ~80.
