    Default burning ps2 games question

I recently got swap magic and would like to burn some of my import games onto discs so I can play them.

My question is what makes of DVD-R discs are the best quality to burn onto? I've heard that Verbatim is good but if so which speed do I get (eg: 4x / 16x etc) or does it matter?

Also what's the best program to burn the ps2 games with? I have the full version of Clone CD? Will that work or will I need another program?

Any help would be greatly appreciated please.

Verbatim is a great name brand. Get the max speed, but when you burn, you'd be better off burning at the slowest possible speed. Also, I'd recommend using Alcohol 120% for burning just about any images. It also has PS2 specific settings.

DVD Decrypter/IMGburn and Alcohol 120% are the best programs to burn your PS2 games.

I've never had any trouble with Sony DVD+R's or TDK DVD+R's.

    Thanks for the replies.

I just got Alcohol 120%. Are there any specific details I need to check in the options when burning the games or is it alright just to click the "Burn from an Image" option and check the Playstation 2 box for the recording option in the options menu.

Click the Play Station 2 option, and burn at 2/4x, that's about all there is to it.

Yes it does. You need either a mod chip, or a way to swap discs (fliptop cover os swap keys/swith) in order to run the Swap Magic discs. Those are the most common ways to run backups.
