    Question VBA + Summon Night 2 problem

    I am frequently getting "save data is corrupted" message after closing out of VBA. To my knowledge, I am not exiting it during the save process... so i cant explain why its doing it unless the save settings are off. what is the correct save settings if there are any? or is this a different issue?

    using VBAlink
    Error

    Try using an official version of VBA and see if that helps.

    This game uses EEPROM saves. VBA seems to have issues autodetecting the save type for games that use EEPROM or 128K Flash. VBA 1.6 (official version) can detect EEPROM saves better then any later version but also doesn't support some of the newer game engines. You're best option is to make a vba-over.ini file. Information about how to do this is in the readme file that was last destributed with version 1.7.2 and I think also with 1.8.0 beta 2.

    Oh and you can always check the save types to various GBA games at dgemu.com.

    Question

    Per game settings
    -----------------

    Version 1.5 introduced the support for per game settings for GBA games. You
    can defined the following settings on a per game basis by using an INI file
    called vba-over.ini in the same directory as the emulator:

    rtcEnabled=<0 for false, anything else for true>
    flashSize=<65536 or 131072>
    saveType=<0 for automatic, 1 for EEPROM, 2 for SRAM, 3 for Flash or 4 for
    EEPROM+Sensor>

    Use the 4 letter game code to separate settings for each game. Example:

    [ABCD]
    rtcEnabled=0
    flashSize=65536
    saveType=0

    [ABC2]
    rtcEnabled=1
    flashSize=131072
    saveType=0
    um...
    What is the save-size for the "summon night 2" is 64k or 128k? and where can i find the 4 letter game code?
    Error

    The size is only for Flash saves.

    [EDIT]
    You can find the code by loading the rom and going to File->Rom Information...
