    Default Epsxe and Psxeven Configurations

I have a 64mb onboard Intel graphics Driver
    2.93ghz processor
    248mb of ram
What would be the best setting to Run games on Epsxe or Psxeven,
so that I don't get slow frame rates.
Also How do I make a screen shot of my
Configuration settings like I have seen so many of you show.
I have the newest version of PSXEVEN the 0.19 for Chrono Cross
And epsxe 1.6.0 for the rest of my games.
Chrono Cross has a glitch in it that won't allow it to run on epsxe 1.6.0 and I'm not very fond of 1.5.2 epsxe its a sucky version of the emulator

To take a screenshot, you press the "Print Screen" button on the top of your keyboard. Then go into a program like photoshop, or mspaint and hit CRTL+V to paste it, and there's your screenshot, just save it.

    Thanks.
Ok I got the screen shot here it is.
Thats 60 fps not 600 I have it limited like that because some of my games run at crazy speeds of like 200 fps or more.
But certain games like Chrono Trigger and CSOTN run slow and have choppy sound on certain screens

ePSXe 1.52 is most compatible with square games..
There's no configuration that works for every game, it will change deppending on the game.
Another good emulator you should have is pSX: http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/

Does this One require Plugins too?
and does it run from Cds because I have all of my PS1 games burned to CD. So one that only works from an ISO isn't going to help me. I'd rather not have my hard drive filled up with ISO images.Since I had to do a complete hard drive reformat system restore, I no longer have a program that will make an ISO image without downloading another one.

Here's a list of the few games I have maybe someone could give me a good configuration for each one of them might take some work though.
    Chrono Trigger
    Chrono Cross
    Need For Speed Porche Unleashed
    Bushido Blade
    Castlevania Chronicles
    Castlevania SOTN
    Brave Fencer Musashi
    Tomb Raider
    Dragon Warrior VII
Of course I run The Squaresoft games on PSXEVEN but i use the same plugins that i use on Epsxe for video
sound shouldn't make a difference in the FPS speed so Video is all I need to look at.

For CD's, I like Emurayden, just start up the emulator, pop the CD in, and it'll start loading the game. It does a good job too. No plugins required.

Hmmm Where do you find that. Will yahoo search or Google take me to it?
My games were Originally ISO images but I used Disc Juggler to Burn them to CD.
What I wish I had is my Playstation 2 modded so it would play the burned games then I wouldn't have any problems at all.

    pSX won't require plugins either.

For Chrono Cross, it's recommended you use ePSXe 1.5.2 with the Odd/even bit hack enabled under Special Game fixes.

    Get ePSXe 1.5.2 from here:
    http://www.epsxe.com/files/epsxe152.zip

    Or use pSXfin instead.

Btw, your comp can read data off the hard drive faster and easier than it can off a CD. So, if you get slowdowns even after following our recommendations, then you need to either use ISO's or adjust the settings in your CDRom plugin/configuration.
