Default Complete Sony Playstation NTSC-U Demo Collection

This page is here for any details/updates anybody needs to know. It's also here to beg for the remaining rarities... If you happen to have any of the demos listed in red please provide them

    September 9, 2012: 276 of 291 known
One more for the pile. Huge thanks to Colamisu, for redirecting a package an eBay seller wouldn't ship up to me!
    NCAA GameBreaker 2001 Demo
Not super interesting, I doubt many people actually want to play an old sports demo... I also spotted Gauntlet Legends and X-Men pop up for sale in the last few months, but despite my exorbitant bids, I was unable to win them...
Uhh, while I'm already updating this I guess I should get on reuploading those dead Megaupload links. If you need any of those, check back tomorrow.

July 3, 2012: Nothing new, I'm still alive
And well, up to 291 known demos... Anyone care to donate to the cause? It's only 5k, act now, while you can!

January 16, 2011: Restoring what was lost in the rollback
Well, this thread survived yet another rollback. A few quick edits and it's back up to date. Getting everything else back into shape will take a bit more work. Nearly all the old posts with Megaupload downloads need to be reposted, that might take me a bit The demos fell off the mainsite, but MasJ is working on them, and they should be restored soon enough. In the meantime the torrent is still going, I'll even be seeding it myself for the next little while.
Also, while I'm at it, how about some good news. We're up to 275 of 290 known demos now with this:
    Monkey Hero Trade Demo
I've been kinda lazy, and have been sitting on this Monkey Hero disc for a couple months now. Sorry

    October 11, 2009: One more!
We now have 274 of 290 known demos
Oddworld Abe’s Oddysee Trade Demo [SLUS-90004]

February 28, 2009: Every demo is now on the mainsite
You can grab all the released games from Emuparadise.org's servers now. They're fast, personally I get download speeds in the 200-300k/s range (maxing my connection) Should you still want any particular titles on Megaupload or wherever feel free to just ask and I can get em for you

July 21, 2008: Update and change of plans...
Well it's quite apparent torrent distribution wasn't the best idea for this project. Nobody seeded much, I had to reseed constantly, and when the tracker changed to private not one of the dozen peers downloading joined the tracker. I probably seeded via dht to them for a month, and I just can't be bothered if they don't care about this enough to visit us once. So I'm hanging em out to dry, I haven't seeded a byte in weeks
It'd be a shame to just kill this project though, and I'm still happy to share. Now then I see that Pro Pinball Timeshock! Demo I casually tossed on Megaupload nearly a year ago is still going fine, with absolutely no help/work from me I'm quite happy with that, so I'll move onto adding all of the files onto filehosts Perhaps adding one a day or so, to see what's added check the PSX Master List.

While I'm getting on this I may as well make an update I've got 3 new demos for you all bringing our total up to 273 of 290 known demos (yep, one new previously unknown) Enjoy:
Best of PlayStation Underground Year One [SCUS-94261]
No One Can Stop Mr. Domino Trade Demo [SLUS-80804]
    Twisted Metal 4 Demo [SCUS-94389]

    August 30, 2007: An update
It's been quite a while, but thanks to our best donater we now have 1 more demo. Bringing our total up to 270 of 289 known demos. It's not worth releasing an updated torrent just for 1 demo though (especially considering how little traffic the mega-torrent is getting), so here have a Megaupload link:
Pro Pinball Timeshock! Demo [U] [SLUS-90039]

Also in the hopes of attracting some more attention I'm going to try posting the entire (or at least as much as my sanity will allow) collection up on Usenet. It'll take several months at least, I'm not in a hurry. You can check it out on alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation if you're usenet savvy.

    April 28, 2007: Version 0.93 release - torrent details
So finally after months and months of ripping and data checking this is finally ready to go This is the initial release, it contains 269 of the 289 known unique demos About 2/3's of the files were ripped by myself, and the other third were all donations (most of which came from 1 awesome guy, you know who you are ). Massive thanks go out to all donaters, without you this release wouldn't happen

    Fall, 2006: Project started
The beginnings of this project were lost in the forum rollback. But sometime last fall Ktiger mentioned the idea of porting the Complete PlayStation collections over to EP. It seemed somewhat simple as Underground Gamer had already seemed to gather all the needed files. However they hadn't even tried to touch the demos as far as I could tell. Rightly so, most of the demos had never been made available online (or if they were they were long gone) and even offline it's nigh impossible to find anything resembling a complete collection. Luckily I'm a somewhat obsessive collector and I've spent the past few years gathering hundreds of demos, so I figured what the heck, how much work could it be Unluckily I've never been a completest, and I only collected the discs that interested me. Also ripping and verifying everything turned to be far more work than I expected, I've probably ripped and triple checked well in excess of 500 images for the utmost in QC. But all the work was worth it, and I eventually managed to get substantial donations by bugging everyone I could. Which leads us up to todays release

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
