The saddest thing is just how easy it was for this guy to walk onto the campus and start shooting. It's pretty eye-opening, especially considering all the security measures that schools and universities supposedly put in place after Columbine.

It could have been either one, I mean, after the first shooting, he had 3 hours to do whatever he wanted, who knows how much time he had after the second shooting.

Well being from VA, its been on the news constantly all morning.

-The death toll has now risen to 33 (inclusing the gunman).

-He was of Asian decent.

-He chained the doors of the dorm shut from the inside to keep others from escaping.

-May have started out as a murderous dispute between him and his girlfriend.

Sad times.

Thanks for the info, I got different stats from different websites. Did he do it execution style? Thats what I heard from one source.

You can't really "Execute" 30 people in a row, unless they're all alone or something. If you walk into a classroom and start waving guns everyone'll do what you say, get down, put their hands behind their heads, whatever, but as soon as you shoot someone everyone's gonna run for the door/rush you. I got the impression that he walked in, chained the doors, then just opened fire, switching between two guns until he wiped out a classroom, then moved on. What I've got from the news is that it was a lone gunmen, dispite a two/three hour gap in the shootings students were still in class, he was armed with two pistols, and he killed himself.
The real fault here isn't American gun laws, videogames, or bad girlfriends. It's shitty ass campus security and slow ass campus officials in informing the student body what's going on. Not a single person after the first shooting should have been on campus but police.
