    I am not a major Snoop Dogg fan but the last album was not his best well you have to look at the type of rap that is being done at the moment that why old school is still the best of rap.
    I love tekken.

    I've been on the verge of getting more into late 80s/early 90s rap for a while now. I'm a big fan of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill as well as enjoying a lot of the artists who were on Death Row Records, but other than that I'm not particularly well versed in the genre. I know NWA's Straight Outta Compton and Dr Dre's the Chronic are pretty much essential, but what else would you guys recommend from that time period?

    @Cosmic

    If you like NWA and PE, check out Ice-T's OG or Home Invasion albums. I'd also recommend anything from the Wu-Tang Clan.

    Hello Nasty! Their best CD.

    Snoop sucks ass.

    NWA are making a new CD.

    Juelz & lil wayne best rap combo in the game at the moment.

    New Timberland CD is pretty good.

    Snoop has no flow.
    Everyone is all "Oh hey Eminem makes up words and shit to help him rap better, thats why he will never be classed as a great rapper"
    Um hold up does "Fo shizzle, my dizzle, gangsta bizzle" ring any bells?
    Snoops utter shit after Death row.

    Kurupt > Snoop
    Fuck anyone WC > Snoop.

    Only reason snoops good, is becuase he smokes weed, stoners love that shit.

    snoops albums have really gone downhill IMO . When i think of west coast rap/hip hop. I think only 2 rappers come to mind right off the bat. The Game and Crooked I. I love listening to some of Daz stuff too.
