According to ESRB, Eternal Sonata is also heading to PS3. Good news for everyone who got a PS3 but no 360.

SCI also said that both Kayne & Lynch and Crossfire will see PS3 releases as well.

Indeed. It was one of the 360 titles that I was looking forward to most (hence signature / avatar ) so that's good news. It looks really pretty, and the idea of an RPG with Chopin's music is very appealing to me. :3 I really like so many of his pieces...

Actually, my scorn for Sony aside, it's nice to see so many titles going multiplatform already this generation. Besides the fact that it's good for aiding companies with the huge development costs of titles these days, I'm really too cheap to buy three consoles, especially when they're as expensive as this generation's consoles are, so... It'd be nice if it didn't hurt me as much as it has the past two generations.

    Couldn't agree more.

I don't know much about Eternal Sonata except that it looks awesome. And I heard it had something to do with music or something... explains the title I guess...

Chopin music? Chopin as in a surname...?

Yep. =o The Japanese title is Trusty Bell - Chopin no Yume / Chopin's Dream. It takes place inside the dream world of Frederic Chopin, who lies on his death bed in France. All of the characters are named after musical terms too. =P I think the main girl, Polka, is meant to have ties to Chopin's real life sister Emilia, who died when he was pretty young, and whose death had a huge impact on his music.

    ...

Sorry, since starting to play the piano, I've kind of become obsessed with him. XD So I was quite excited to hear the announcement of this game.

Well that sounds kinda bizarre. I will probably pick it up eventually, if not only because of the purdy graphics.

So far the next-gen RPG front have been pretty slow. But those few titles that have been shown look pretty darn cool. Like White Knight Story and this one. Not Blue Dragon though. I despise Akira Toriyama!

Me too, but... Chrono Trigger! =o That was so awesome that it overcame Toriyama's yucky character designs. So you never know. I'll give it a go, anyway. Toriyama aside, I'm curious to see how well Hironobu and co. have done for themselves having left Square.

But yeah, White Knight Story looks nice. =o It's Level 5 developed, isn't it? Nice to see them turning their graphical hand to something outside of cel-shading so adeptly.

Chrono Trigger was a great game indeed. And well... the artwork really isn't present in the game so it was easy to put a blind eye on. No Blue Dragon for me though, unless it reach outside the 360 demographics. And that is pretty unlikely seeing as MistWalker and Microsoft are pretty close to each others.

Level 5 indeed! And as we all know, anything Level 5 touches turns to gold! Well almost anything. I'm sure it will be awesome though.

    Starcraft 2.

Just a rumor, and might be BS, but still.

That sound you hear is a million south koreans orgasming all over their keyboards.

This would be great if it were true, however I'm extremely sceptical for one major reason. Why, you ask?

The report also claims that Blizzard plans to shut down its original StarCraft servers in order to ensure the success of the sequel.
No way in hell will that happen. So either
A.) Blizzard has finally lost its marbles due to too much WoW (which seems likely)
    B.) Blizzard is somehow evil
    Or
C.) Someone (the report writer or Blizzard) is trolling millions of nerds at once.

Either way, I forsee millions of internet gaming articles with the phrase "zerg rush" in their headlines showing up over the next few weeks.

Who cares? Private servers are easy to find.

    I didn't say they weren't.

Just that I HIGHLY doubt that they would shut down the official servers.

Especially just because the new version is out.

    This isn't a sports game, it's starcraft.

    - Developed by Arc Systems
    - Block attacks by holding button, moving Wiimote/Nunchuck
    - Perform special moves by holding button, moving Wiimote/Nunchuck
    - Classic controller compatible
    - Coming out July 26th (in Japan)
That's direct from Famitsu. They don't report on something like that unless it's fact.

Fighting games on the Wii are no good to me personally unless they let you use the classic controller. If this one does, then yay. Art of Fighting though....meh. Seriously meh. As for Gundam, wasn't that game out on the PS2? Or is it a new game? I guess it doesn't matter though, since Gundam games generally suck arse.

So yeah, it's news I guess.

EDIT: Classic controller is in for GG? Good.
