Just received a very nice gift from a appreciative friend , a Buffalo Super Famicom replica controller for PC,

    http://www.amazon.com/Buffalo-Classi.../dp/B002B9XB0E

    Spoiler warning:

It feels pretty much exactly like the SNES/Super Famicom controller and it responds great, The reviews do it justice in its quality, its not junk like Gtrons controllers all over amazon.

Did I mention its a japanese company who designed this?

Its made in china though, only downside, still a great replica and worth the cheap price .

    Looks Chinese to me.

Couldn't you just use a SNES controller with an adapter though?

We both had our eye on this brand after reading about them and seeing how much people enjoyed them on youtube and the like.

He got 2 and got me one as thanks and we both greatly enjoy them, very decent replica/clone controller, feels spot on to a original SNES pad minus the 2 concave face buttons since that was only on the SNES pads face buttons, not the Super Famicoms.

All in all it was a choice and the price was right, the price got reduced from its normal retail of around $15 to $10 and below and amazon actually got some in its warehouses when before it was always sold out in very limited quantities and you had to import them from japan.

Is anyone here familiar with the PS2 game, Magna Carta: Tears of Blood? I've been trying to learn the game recently, but am finding combat something of a PITA to get a grip on. Is there a way to get enemies to re-spawn so I could get more practice in on this game? So far i haven't seen any of them re-spawn.

I played a fair amount of that game back in the day and got to the first real boss fight and got destroyed due to being under leveled. I tried everything and seems like you only get the one shot at enemies. Maybe I just couldn't figure it out either?

New enemies appear only when storyline demands that you revisit previously cleared areas.
Aside from that, they are finite and don't respawn. And because this game is quite brutal and underleveling equals death - KILL everything that moves before leaving any area.
Make a separate save, train until all enemies die, then reload. That's how I did it.
I've heard that there are some locations where they do respawn, but it seems that those areas are near the end of the game. And I didn't get that far.

Anyone else thinking of backing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night?
    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...l-of-the-night

I wanna grab myself some level of the physical version, but it's kinda hard to pick which level I'd want. The $60 tier is barely worth bothering with. The $250 tier is super expensive for what you get, but all the tiers between those don't come with a box dammit Ahh, I'll wait and see for a bit. More rewards are being added, the artbook has already upgraded to hardcover.

Ya.................physical release on steam......................may as well just keep it digital since all that will be is a exe on disc for installing it from steams servers.

    DRM at its finest.

If they were pro consumer it would be a DRM free release on PC , should of used GOG or Humble Bundle for Digital.

Hrm, I wonder about that. I'd only be in for a PS4 version, so it really doesn't matter how shitty the PC disc is to me

New consoles/arcade machines are nothing but heavily locked down/modified PCs

What about console exclusives that either can't be emulated or not emulated very well at all?
