You know I'm stoked, as I'm sure you are as well. Gonna buy a PS4 just for it or you just gonna grab the PS3 version?

I just looked up NES Remix (I never actually watched the Nintendo Direct thing). Holy hell that looks fun... it doesn't make sense to me as a WiiU release, though, it definitely looks like it belongs on the 3DS.

Yeah I'm hyped as hell! Probably getting the PS3 version as I don't intend to buy a PS4 just yet. Need to get a new PS3 before that as my old Phat's BD-drive is starting to sounds like a jet engine and the fan on the back is grinding like a bitch. I'd rather keep the money and save it for a PS4 but...

One saddening (kind of) update from Sony on some server shutdowns in the new year...
Most saddening for trophy hunters. I suppose I'd best pull my finger out and get GT5 and Resistance 3 done, I think I'll let 2 go, I never liked that one anyway.

Sorry for the timing on this, but Sony has posted some online server shutdown dates for 2014. On March 28, 2014, the servers for Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, and Resistance 3 will be shutdown and on May 20, 2014, the same will happen for Gran Turismo 5.

As of those dates, the following trophies, and therefore the platinum trophies, will be unachievable online.

Resistance 2 - Berserker, Point Man, Killing Machine, Specter Recon, Specter Initiate, Team Player, Tour of Duty, Specter Officer, Primarch Hunter, Specter Intel

Resistance 3* - Helping Hand, Silent Partner

Gran Turismo 5 - Proud Owner, Course Designer

*Won't be able to be done online, but can still be done split screen.

Last year:

During a recent Twitter Q&A with the Maxis staff, many unsatisfied customers asked the developer to patch an offline mode, in order to prevent such an occurrence from happening again, which is a great idea and should have been implemented from the start. Unfortunately, adding offline is impossible, according to Maxis GM Lucy Bradshaw, who had this to say during the session:

“We have no intention of offlining SimCity any time soon but we'll look into that as part of our earning back your trust efforts.

"The game was designed for MP, we sim the entire region on the server so this is just not possible."

That's great and all that they're finally giving us the offline mode we should have had since launch, but now what they really need to do is increase the map sizes. It's still a game about building multiple cities and trying to connect them.... maybe now that it will be offline the modders will get ahold of this sucker and quadruple map sizes.

So in between trying to take over the world with Rome I've been taking short breaks with the walking dead to try and get into it. I don't think it matters much tbh. There is one bit that is kinda tricky no matter what choices you make anyway, but that's just the way the game is.
I remember when I played it I actually thought it was glitchy, but after a google that's just the way it is.
