Square have just remade it with a Final Fantasy storyline.

Camera angle - Free movement ? Your not meant to be able to freely move the camera in a Final Fantasy game.

Pretty much never here.
1. The free movement in FFXII has no bearing on the actual battles. The battle system is still basically the same ATB system used since FFVI/FFVII.
2. Bad graphics? I really don't know what to say about this one. Could you give some examples or something? Because as far as I can tell, FFXII looks great.
3. Similar fighting style...Similar between who? The main character of VS and Vann? I'm really not sure what you're talking about here. If you mean the battle system then, again, the FFXII battle system is still basically the same as it always was, only now you can run around during fights, not that it makes any real difference. It doesn't change the way battles are fought. You still attack after an ATB bar fills up.
4. Same time? FFXII and Vagrant Story are set in different UNIVERSES. How can you even judge when each takes place in relation to the other?
Don't get me wrong. I don't like FFXII either, but for completely unrelated reasons (I basically don't like any Final Fantasy any more).

Serpahis pretty much did it for me.. but adding a bit to 4.
AFAIK, Vagrant Story is set in a pretty "dark ages" timeline, medieval and all that. FFXII has airships and pretty robust technology. I could see none of that in Vagrant Story really.
