Oh I've been playing it all night! It's fantastic. I agree with Raype though. I think S3/K might still be better. The stages in Sonic CD just aren't as memorable to me. But they are HUGE and with the time travel mechanic they have tons of secrets. That's what I love most about it so far. I can't decide whether the Japanese or North American soundtrack is better. Wish it just had one so I didn't have to choose

I think I'd probably wait for either more patches or a price drop from all the problems I've heard people having with it. Also you can't play offline? What's up with that? Steam is awesome but the whole "You gotta be online even to play alone" thing HL2 started is B.S. Also I know it's a pipe dream and a strange thing to say given that I used to be such a hardcore PC guy, but I kinda hope Diablo 3 comes out for PS3 My PC can't run it for sure and I'd like to give it a play eventually.

That depends. If the always-online DRM doesn't bother you and you plan on playing the game multiple times on all the difficulty settings (with different characters, even), and you're also planning to get into PvPing once it gets patched into the game, then you'll most likely get your money's worth out of it. If you only want to rush through the campaign once on normal difficulty and never touch the game again, then you might want to wait till the price drops.

Good news for everyone, Artorias of the Abyss will be released as DLC for the console versions of Dark Souls.

Also, Dark Souls - Prepare to Die will be distributed via Games for Windows and Steam.
