I'm with ya man. It's all about the gameplay as far as I'm concerned.

I don't really think that the alleged graphical downgrade in MGS4 is going to make much of a difference though. I'm sure it'll still be an awesome game and all that, and will look great. Just not as great as it should have, if we're to believe Kojima. Or whatever.

Being that not a single developer up until now has had a problem with Blue Ray disk capacity, you just have to wonder is all. I'm sure it'll be a fantastic game, even though Kojima had to cut corners because of this silly, silly issue. Maybe next time out he'll use two disks if he has to?

Anyway, for those of you who are interested, Rhapsody is coming to the DS, as is Disgaea.
Cyber, figure that a game like Lost Odyssey takes around 30 gigs, using the Unreal engine which has lends itself to great compression techniques, Im sure the 50 gig limit is possible, factoring in high quality 5.1 surround sound, possibly uncompressed (though I have no idea if it is or not, just throwing it out there).

And I havent read that hes cutting graphics anywhere, just features, which could have been a bonus movie for all we know.

I don't believe that Lost Odyssey takes up quite that much space because of how much data is present on all the disks such as the game engine, character models, etc, etc.

The discs weren't long either only a few hours on each of gameplay. It was the damn cut scenes and whatnot.

Lost Odyssey features voice tracks for like, 5 different languages, I guess that's what's taking up space. Oh, and cutscenes.

Well, at least they don't shove you a language-only version, that's a plus.

/off topic with the space in games disc, but I'm really disliking that over here in Mexico people in the 360 get everything in spanish or rather, European Spanish (Castellano) dunno why, but I'm more used to have the option to select a language instead of just having one and not being able to change it.
