Here's a few movies that I found to be interesting... in the messed up way only psychological foreign thrillers can be:
    Confessions (2010) aka Kokuhaku
    Martyrs (2008)

And here's some that I'm sure have been mentioned and are a little more mainstream:
    Battle Royale (2000)
    Oldboy (2003)
Outrage (2010) aka Auroreiji (this movie really needs to be seen twice to fully appreciate)

And finally a comedy that I thought was genius:
    Our Idiot Brother (2011)

I recommend the movie whose first rule means we can't talk about it... whatever it is.
I also recommend They Live. Why? Roddy Piper is far cooler than for which he is ever given credit, and he actually acts pretty well.

I recommend you people's watch Cat Run. It's freaking hilarious and stars the guy who played as the main kid in Euro Trip.
The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

If you like bad movies, you should watch After Last Season. It's a terrible movie, made on a nonexistent budget. The "MRI" machine in the movie is cardboard boxes covered in paper. I'm not kidding. Watch it to witness the ineptitude.

Watching After Last Season on its own is pure torture and I wouldn't even recommend it to my enemies. The only way to get anything out of it is to grab Spoony's (Noah Antwiler) rifftrax and watch it with that. I honestly couldn't have watched it without his commentary, the movie on its own was that boring.

It's terrible, I know. It cures insomnia, and causes insanity.

I'm gonna have to check out this After Last Season.... I've never heard of it. I don't really gravitate towards "bad" movies, but this one has piqued my interest.

Oh, and a recommendation: Putney Swope

This movie is just off the wall nuts. It's old, and it's a total rips into the corporate marketing industry. Some of the stuff that happens in this movie will make you simply go WTF.

A recent movie would be the Avengers. It has the action and the drama.

But, I really recommend Last of the Mohicans. There's all the historical themes put together with the acting. And, there's that heart scene that makes it awesome.

Wow, no one posting for well over a month?? That's kind of sad.

Anyway, if you like sports movies, and especially movies about the darker/seedier side of said sport, check out North Dallas 40. It's a good one.

Monster (2010): Seriously overrated but all in all it's far better then the crappy sci-fi Hollywood gives us, the ironic thing? It's British. So yeah so what I hate American "Sci-Fi"

A Fistful of Dollars (1964): The beginning of the awesome actor with the name Clint Eastwood, under the director Sergio Leone and with the music of Ennio Mericonne, it is also the beginning of the awesome story of the Man with No Name, which in my opinion is the greatest Spaghetti Western if not Western, watch it, seriously, it's really good stuff.

For A Few Dollar More (1965): the series keeps getting better and better, just watch it okay? You won't regret it.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966): the best western ever made, EVER! Watch seriously, it's super long but trust me it's worth the watch.

People who are a fan of crime movies and hard boiled detective films should check out Brick starring Joseph Gordon Levitt.

If you're in the mood for a classic movie that'll never get old, watch Life is Beautiful.
If you want a romantic movie about the hardships of marriage and relationships, I'd suggest In The Mood For Love (2001).

Life is beautiful is good, I saw that years ago.
If you like parodies, Kung Pow is pretty good. It's a splice of a kung fu movie with american actors edited in. Kind of like a Godfrey Ho movie.
