No problem, I thought of a couple others you might like after browsing my MAME list.
Denjin Makai (there's a couple of these)
    Oriental Legends 2 - a lot like the 2 D&D games
Knights of Valour - there's a few of these too
    Shadow Force
    Armored Warriors
The Combatribes - another 3 player brawler - DO NOT PLAY THE SNES VERSION (it's real bad)

That should keep you busy for a while Gare. I love brawlers, if you have any more questions let me know.

Man, I'm pretty impressed. Some of these I've never even heard of. Then again, I'm not especially savvy in this genre. Much appreciated.

Gaiapolis is also good. It's different cause it has a top-down perspective instead of side scrolling one.

    Sonic '06.

If you're looking for a classic RPG and don't mind the dated graphics I wholeheartedly recommend Breath of Fire 1 on the Snes (or the GBA version, either or). While the menu system is a little funky the music is absolutely fantastic, and competes with several Final Fantasy games as having my favorite RPG music of all time from the 16 bit era (and overall for that matter).

If you'd like something a little less dated you might check out Breath of Fire 3 on the PS1. Another classic, and is also a bit different from your standard RPGs as far as its style is concerned. This one also features an excellent soundtrack which admittedly, I keep on my MP3 player to listen to anytime highly recommended.

"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

Talking about the classic RPG's, Earthbound is the best.

Tales of Phantasia, a phantastic (har har) jRPG for the SNES.

The Last Story (Wii), an action RPG with an emphasis on storytelling (really, it's almost like watching a movie)

Final Fantasy Adventure for some good ol' GB awesomeness! Plays like the Zelda GB/C titles.
