It wasn't too bad, nothing special. I was trying to remember where I'd seen Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) before, then remembered she's been in Firefly, Stargate SG1 and probably a shitload more besides.

feel the need to fire up short circuit 1 & 2, to restore my humor and 80's sarcasm reserves. (which could also lead onto police academy series?)

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

    The Colony. 2013.

Meh. Not great. Not horrible. 90 minutes of average fare. Ending fight was kinda cool though.

    Red. 2010.

Pretty good. Some really funny parts too. And that cast was amazing. Think I'll watch the sequel now too

is this thread still alive ? the last movies I watched were: Heitful 8 and the Witch, although I watched Terminator 1 last night at Swarcenegger's acting was awful. Amazingly how much they improved visual effects in the movies over the last 20 years. comparing to what we see today, sci-fi movies from the past suck big time.

That movie is 32 years old I don't understand people that can't appreciate classic old movies (warts and all), you do realise anything made today with sfx will look lame in 15-20 years time? Might only take 10 in fact.
