So glad the forums are back up and running, i have a question.

Ok i downloaded some dreamcast ISO's, and for some reason whenever you unzip them there are many more files that are created, any idea on how to compile these into 1 CDI or... something so i can mount it and play it?

Try right-clicking on one of the files, and extracting from them with WinRar.

Umm, what are the file formats? like .CDI or .BIN etc.

Ok for instance, Record of Lotus War. Once i extract it with winrar, i get Sa-rolw.001 through Sa-rolw.028.

001 to 008 is either a split file/archive that needs to either be extracted or joined

Try either 7-zip or HJSplit

7-zip is more likely the one to use

P.S. you may have already extracted the file that is contained in the archive aswell anyway or it's an archive within an archive, so try extracting Sa-rolw.001 with WinRAR before downloading more progs though still recomend getting yourself 7-zip

No do not use 7zip to decompress them and don't bother to join the files. Complete waste "7Zip - There's an error with the archive, will not extract", Merging is pointless. Instead: with WinRAR right click on ".001, Open With .. Select WinRAR, Always Use." Then double click and extract from inside that archive.
