Stargazer and The Rivalry are the supports for Adelaide apparently.

Great, just great. Stargazer are a killer band, but now my bank are being assholes about clearing the last deposit to go into my account. Now I've gotta wait til monday before I can actually pay for the tickets.

If this is sold out before I can snatch up a pass, I'm gonna be righteously pissed.

I've added GWAR to my list

so that would be NIN, GWAR, and Celtic Frost and Kreator in a week

Well Enter Shikari was awesome, probably one of the most fun shows I've ever been to. Their support bands were yourcodenameis:milo and Chinese Finger Trap, the latter of which I didn't realise were playing and missed. YCNIM though were awesome. I even met Paul Mullen afterwards, nice guy. Enter Shikari were great too, as was their lighting rig. The whole show just felt like a huge party.

I don't know what's happened but we're suddenly starting to get decent bands down here now. Figures, just as I'm planning on moving away. Anyway, I'm hoping to see this lot over the summer:

    Reel Big Fish
    Erik Mongrain
    Bright Eyes

Lamb of God aren't touring with Slayer because they're headlining their own tour a few weeks later.

Beats me. I just know they pass through Adelaide at the end of april (not that I'm going. Don't have the cash to spend a week after Vader pass through).

Just bought my tickets for Sodom and Obituary...hoping I can scrounge up enough cash for Nile/Decapitated and Vader, damn all these awesome bands, I've had to start prioritizing between them

As for the Slayer gig, you're fucking lucky you get Mortal Sin as support in Sydney Darth...Brisbane support is Minus Life, I'm getting real sick of seeing them support EVERY international metal band regardless of genre...they're nice guys but god give some other bands a crack.

Also anyone got a recent Slayer set list? Anything from Show No Mercy? Black Magic perhaps?

My tickets for Vader are in my hands finally.

Support bands are Killrazor (metalcore, iirc) and The Infernal Method (a decent melodeath band that supported Dark Tranquility on their previous aus tour).

Bright Eyes tickets go on sale in just over half an hour. Fingers crossed I manage to get a couple...

EDIT: Half an hour of obsessively dialing the phone number every four seconds and refreshing the website resulted in a pair of tickets. Fuck yes! This is gonna be awesome.

Sonata Arctica at the Brixton Academy on November 11th.

    Wacken Open Air in August.

Any random gigs which I feel the need to go to. Also considering Bloodstock Open Air if I can muster the money to go.
