    Default Gigs for 2007

I thought this might be a nice addition for 2007, people might plan to go see a band that they like, etc etc.

For this year, I am planning to see the following (so far)

Steven Seagal - March 13th the Robin, Bilston
Within Temptation - April 13th Wulfrun Hall
Porcupine Tree - April 23st Wulfrun Hall

The Steven Seagal gig is for kicks only Within Temptation should be a laugh, Porcupine Tree should rocks all kinds of awesome.

    Soooooooooooo what you got?

    Also, Sticky cos I can

I'm considering going to see Suffocation on the 14th of february. Isis and Arcturus have gigs in march, but I'm not enough of a fan to shell out the cash needed.

Strangely enough, the Isis gig is 18+ but the Suffocation gig is all ages. Something screwy there...

You see, I would give a lot to go see Arcturus, a perfect gig would have to be arcturus and Ulver together

Also, I'm would definatly go to see Immortal if they had a UK gig,

We've got Roger Waters in Dubai Media City sometime in February.
And we've got Iron Maiden, Incubus, Prodigy, Children of Bodom and more showing up in March in Dubai, Am going to hit all of them . Fo' Sure!

I really want to catch this year's Dubai Desert Rock festival. Last year they had Megadeth and Testament; this year they're having Iron Fucking Maiden, Children of Bodom and In Flames (still unconfirmed). I'm not so hot on those last two, but Iron Maiden I have to see.

And that means you live in Dubai ? Wow, nice, I never knew that

Yeah, but the updated list of confirmed bands is pretty amazing. The complete list so far is:
    9th March:
    Iron Maiden
    Prodigy
    Stone Sour
    In Flames
    Mastodon
    Children of Bodom
    Lauren Harris
    Junkyard Groove

    10th March:
    Incubus
    Prime Circle
    Junkyard Groove

I just bought tickets online today, AED 300 for both days

Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame for the win. I've seen Maiden twice. But i really want to see Rammstein, unfortunately there's no confirmed UK dates at the moment...

Hmm. Does anyone know who's supporting Trivium on the UK leg of their tour this year? They have a date scheduled near me in April. I absolutely fucking detest them, but if they're bringing any decent bands over here I may consider going on account of how my area of the country usually gets screwed over where gigs are concerned.

I don't think support is usually confirmed till a little closer to the venue, you may be just getting some local support, though to be honest, the cradle of filth gig I went to had sabbat supporting which just kicked all kinds of ass

    It's actually not confirmed.

Sunn O))) and Boris are touring Japan, they posted dates on Sunn O)))'s website, and said Australian dates to follow. Not sure if that means Boris aswell...

I'm not sure how bands are for Australian Tours, but you have Arcturus over there (which I'm tearing my hair out) it doesn't seem to me that they tour often lol.

Yeah there's tons of people coming this summer, but the ones I posted are all I can afford. Actually a couple of gigs less than that would be all I can afford...

Well actually I live in Jordan which is like.. 3 countries away from Dubai. But yes indeed, the lineup is impressive. I need to start acting fast on convincing a poor soul to accompany me on this endeavor.
