Thread: Damn iexplorer wont close!

    Default Damn iexplorer wont close!

    In the process manager it shows that i explorer is running even tho i dont have it open. and everytime i shut it down it starts up again im so close to uninstalling it can some one gimme some advise on what i should

    Probably a stupid suggestion but the internet explorer process is IEXPLORE.EXE. Windows explorer is EXPLORER.EXE. I have confused the two before.

    i know wich ones are wich the process: iexplorer will not close.

    Sorry for not being helpful. I have never had this messup before. Now, here is the question. Do you need IE for anything? Uninstalling it would be nice.

    iexplorer.exe doesn't exist, it's iexplore.exe.

    If you want to remove internet explorer (and I highly recommend you do) you'll need to make a custom Windows CD that is missing internet explorer altogether. The tool for the job is nlite.
