Good Bands, Silly Fans

so what good bands have you noticed that have idiotic fans?

There's one in particular whos fans are funny. I won't name names, but their fans have been known to use the bands lyrics in their signatures to appear intelligent.

Then you're not looking at the right places. Can't say I've seen any here, but at GameFAQs and IGN (both has shitty forums with mostly fanboys, but whatever) there are plenty.

And exactly who are we to judge what people can and cannot put in their sigs? Please don't show your "intellectual superiority" by insinuating people who put lyrics in their sig only pretend to be smart.

Yea I don't fully agree with the way he put that comment either, but I have noticed some lyrics or particular bands get sort of trendy in signatures, which I think is unoriginal and lame. I mean that's one of the cool things about creating a sig that has a quote is the originality. I don't think it has anything to do with if they are or aren't intelligent.

Bands usually have multitudes of idiotic fans it isn't something that has to be pointed out. I was just commenting on Man's need to point out his intelligence over theirs...

That's kind of funny because I recently saw an interview of Maynard (with APC) and he was saying that he doesn't like to answer fans when they ask what is X song about, or the meanings and that he'd rather leave the interpretation up to the listeners instead. so that was cool. So you shouldn't have gotten flamed for that, that's just silly.

I try not to get involved in disputes about people I talk to choice in music to avoid events like Howie mentioned. Insulting a persons favorite band sometimes is like insulting their religion.
