    there is a ePSXe.exe (looks like a PSX controller) in the folder where you installed the emulator. double clicky..
    then click "config->Wizard guide"
    but did you download the BIOS and plugins for the emulator?? if you didnt, do that first...

    through my teachings you will be enlighted....

    It's an ISO, not a rom.
    Try these
    ePSXe 1.60
    Here's PSX BIOS for you(put them in the BIOS folder). http://s15.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2...E1GGZPXROEQDPY
    One of Pete's Windows OGL/D3D PSX GPUs should be good for Vagrant Story if I remember right(OpenGL if you have an nvidia card or D3D otherwise).
    P.E.Op.S. DSound PSX SPU or Eternal SPU v1.41 for your sound plugin.

    Put the plugins in you plugins folder then try starting ePSXe and going to config, then wizard guide to setup the plugins.

    After that go to file, then run ISO from ePSXe and choose your Vagrant Story ISO.

    Since your unfamiliar with ePSXe try having a look here. http://forums.emuparadise.org/showthread.php?t=26432

    Turn on FPS limit in your video plugin config to deal with the speed issue. For saving your can just save like you would normally or press F1 to save a state and F3 to load, F2 changes the save state slot.

    Go to config/video, hit configure and where it says framerate check use FPS limit and set the FPS limit to 60 fps.
    Das was faster
