If you had to lose one of the five senses, which would you pick?
Just now I was in the shower thinking of how beautiful I am, when I suddenly thought "wow if I went blind I couldn't see my sexy self again". And thus, I created this topic. Thanks to me, God was happy once again.
So anyways as the thread title says, if you had to lose one of the five senses, which would it be? And please explain why.
The five senses are:
Sight
Hearing
Touch
Smell
Taste
Really now, I don't know which one I would pick. Probably smell because quite frankly, lots of stuff stinks.

Taste, because then I wouldn't have to worry about what I eat anymore (up to a point, i.e stomach iritations) and eat more healthily.

Most useful sensory input comes from the audio/visual sensors. Smell is less important.

I don't see why people would like to loose smell before taste. Most of the time you know something is good to eat when it smells good, even before tasting it.And that sense is still used by a load of animals so it must be useful for something.

Probably smell, because I already sacrficed most of it for other senses. Mean, I have excelent sight and hearing. My touch and taste arent exceptional, but I like them. And my smell suck.
If there is something smarter or faster than me in the world, I'll dispose of it.

Losing smell would actually make pheromones not affect me. Maybe that's not such a good idea, after all.

I heard the same thing. That is why I am choosing taste. Besides, I've eaten some oddly tasting stuff so maybe my sense of taste isn't all that strong (am I the only one who has licked the bottom of a boot for $5 on a bar bet?)
