Default Question about Xbox MOD'ing... Basically about different game compatability...

Ok, i was recently informed that whenever you MOD an xbox with a mod chip and put different roms on the hard drive, you can't transfer the emulators as well as a result of it being somewhat different based on OS or something...

I'm not incredibly familiar with this stuff, i've actually never even attempted it.
Basically all i'm wondering is, can anyone tell me where i can find compatability lists for NES, SNES, GBA, GBC, SEGA Genesis, SEGA 32X, SEGA CD, Playstation, N64, Arcade, Neo Geo, and Atari? that is of course, used with the xbox emulators supported through the BIOS or whatever..

I would really appreciate knowledge on this, i could definetely use it. Thanks in advance!

AFAIK any rom should work on the X-Box provided the emulator itself actually works in such an environment.

Or you can check out my tutorial in the tutorial section....

Youll see all of the emulators available this way, and most run quite well. Xbins.org has the full release list.

Ok i'll check those out whenever i get back from eating tonight. Also one more question, i've noticed that certain sounds and music doesn't really work that well with many games in ePSXe. The graphics are fine for the most part, and everything runs smooth. However the sound plugins that i have aren't very accurate on several different things with many games. Do the xbox emulators support good sound plugins? as well as video plugins i guess i should ask... anyway are good plugins for audio and video supported?

    thanks in advance!

Well, currently i'm using MIDAS Audio Drive 1.7...

However i also have Null2's Audio Drive 1.3 and ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2.

I get basically the same result with each of those.

I have never had problems with ePSXe SPU Core 1.5.2. Make sure you have XA sound enabled. You also might want to enable the special game hack.
