I have been extensively researching new upload sites that we can now use. I am now requesting to create my own Mania thread. Now before you come to any conclusions, please continue reading to see my analysis.

I have narrowed down my search to Megashares and Badongo. After extensively reading the TOS agreements, Badongo clearly states in section 5.2:
5.2 You represent and warrant that You will not, directly or indirectly, link any of the following content or material to the Service through any hyperlinks
In the TOS of Megashares, there was nothing stating that posting hyperlinks to public is illegal, in fact there are an incredible amount of loopholes inside their TOS, that if they were to even attempt to sue us, they wouldn't be capable of getting passed the hearing.

With that said, Badongo clearly states in section 1.5:
1.5 Notice Of Age Restriction. Anyone eighteen (18) years of age is permitted to use the Service and access the contents of Badongo.com, however Service specifically denies permission to anyone under the age of 18 to use the Service or access any part of Bandongo.com beyond the Home Page of that Website. Any access of the content of the Service beyond the Home Page of Bandongo.com by any person under the age of 18 shall be deemed unauthorized and a trespass, and Service reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies for such trespass.
Basically that states that if anybody under the age of 18 uploads or downloads from their servers, they are allowed to seek civil action against you. Basically by even using that website (beyond the webpage as it states) you are leaving yourself victim to a lawsuit.

Megashares is very prosperous indeed. It displays a box that states how far your upload is and the estimated time left. The bandwidth limit is unlimited, and you are allowed to download any amount of files at any given time. Megashares may very well be as good, if not better than the current YSI Mania! Please review the aforementioned upload sites and tell me if you agree with my consensus. Thank you for your time!

Badongo is pretty awful, I know that peerguardian blocks there site as AP2P, so I've never even bothered trying to use it.

Well, Megashares has been giving me trouble lately, it's failing to load the Java applet in the Custom uploads section. That means there's no box telling me the upload speed, or anything. I admit, however, that Badongo sucks horribly (I tried uploading 3 files last night, and each of them failed. Not even YSI was that bad.). However, Megashares isn't that great for downloaders. I believe it only allows 1-2 downloaders at a time on a file.

It's unlimited amount of downloaders. However, if you all could check those sites and do the same tests I have done. We need a good uploader site that ALLOWS us to share hyperlinks, has capability of staying permanently as long as the link is active, allows at least 50mb per upload, unlimited up/down load bandwidth, unlimited amount of downloads/uploads, and there is no timer to download.

hm, I'll test one of these with Beyond the beyond seeing as there is a lot of call for it, plus it is a small download.

Edit: Took 5-10 minutes for Beyond the Beyond using SaveFile

    hxxp://www.savefile.com/files/4603956

To prevent linking please copy the address and and change the hxxp to http.

Edit 2: lol just checked the time for the edit: so it took 5 minutes (about a minute to go to the site and select upload )

Edit: giong to test this with a larger Iso.

Please do, I'm still planning on uploading We Love Katamari.

EDIT: Excellent. Since each part of We <3 Katamari is only 100 MBs large, it should be a piece of cake. I'll definitely try it out tonight.

It's the one I'm going to be using now, even though I won't be using it to its full potential. Goddammit I hate my 13 kb/s upload rate.

I think I might use it, in fact I have half a mind to suggest general threads to stop all the confusion. I find it half to look through all the thread to see which is which to post the link or the comment or request and which service its with, I think it'd be easier just to have:

    Comments thread
    Requests thread
    Links only thread

This would save lots of trapzing, and possibly give room for some other threads like Faqs or somethign like that (I know half the problems people have are either related to corrupted downloads or unfinished ones). Thoughts?

Edit: and requesting for example you can say which service you;d prefer.

I'd go with one request (already done, I think) and one comment. If someone asks for a game, he'll know to look for an answer, so it wouldn't be all that bad.

so there is, thanks for pointing that one out

Still the amount of comments and Links threads is a bit cumbersome (sorry, the army taught me to be very tidy lol)
