I heard that asian horror movies are the scariest kind of horror movies.

    I watch asian cinema sometimes

    some I like are

Battle Royale (a school is brought to an island and pitted against each other; last man standing concept)
Oldboy (A man is released after 15 years of emprisonment and torture and has to solve to puzzle of who his captor was and his motive)
Hard Boiled (old but a Chow Yun Fat action classic!)

Japanese movies are the best, seriously. Yes, they make the best horror movies, like the original Ringu trilogy, or Ju-On. Most excellent.

I must agree. They know their gory material.

    Ju-On, that's The Ring, right?

No, it's the original Japanese version of The Grudge.

Ju-On: The Grudge 1-2, Ju-On: The Curse 1-2, four movies in total, all excellent.

    And very, very gory.

For japanese horror i've seen Ju-on, and Ringu. Both originals were scarier than their American counterparts. The US releases seem to have better special-effects and all, but there is a geniune, creepiness factor doesn't transfer over when they are remade. *adds Ju-on 2 to his Netflix queue*

Oh yeah, Asian cinema is great. I love Battle Royale, and then there's the movie with the really freaky murderer... It's Ichi something, I think. Not to mention Ringu.
Book: What are we up to, sweetheart?
    River: Fixing your Bible.
    Book: I, um... what?
River: Bible's broken. Contradictions, false logics. Doesn't make sense.

River: I took these out of your symbol and they became paper, and I wanted to put them back.
