Gamecube mini dvd-rw

I have a few gamecube games ready to burn to disk, i haven't had the case modded so i will have to go with mini dvds.Will the gamecube run games from a mini dvd-rw ? Thx in advance

i think they'd need to be mini dvd-r's or normal dvd-r's. and even so, its prolly a pain to get the games to run without it being chipped.

I have heard that this works. However, some games will not work well. Not sure why, this is just what I have heard on various forums.

It is chipped and the games i got with it are on mini dvd-r, but i wanted to try my first few attempts at burning on -rw in case i screw up. Hardley any local stores stock the discs and the -rw are �9.99 each !!! Maybe i should get the case mod and go with full size dvds.

Or just pop off the lid and tape the sensor like me

I doubt it will work on -RW discs. Personally, I use full sized +R's, and have had no problems

Yeah, been trying to get screws out using the melted pen trick....no luck, will have to get proper gamebits.

Have you tried -R's ? I normally use -R's because they are cheaper, but would use +R's if there is any noticable difference in quaility.

No, I only have +R's, since that is what I had left over from burning my Xbox ISOs... I would say -R will work, because the Mini DVD's only come in -R, and I know they work.
