from what i have come to understand, there is no working NDS emu, ps2 emu, xbox/xbox 360 emo, or psp emu.

but then again, this is just what ive heard, so i may be wrong

I don't care if your world is ending today/ Because I wasn't invited to it anyway/ You said I tasted famous, so I drew you a heart/ But now I'm not an artist I'm a fucking work of art/ I got an F and a C and I got a K too/ And the only thing that's missing is a bitch like U

Unfortunately, there's no NDS emulator that will do what your likely looking for. There's actually a sticky thread in this section about this. http://forums.emuparadise.org/showthread.php?t=38441

If you want to have a look for yourself though...

If you're looking for emulators for playing games from various systems (like Atari) on your NDS, then check the list on the right side of this page:

Actually, from what i've heard, there are PS2/GC/Xbox emulators that play a few commerical games depending on your setup, but I haven't heard of any that run at full speed, or any games that people have got to work perfectly. Of course, my graphics card is pathetic, so I couldn't verify it even with demos...

With DS and PSP emulation, you might be able to run a few demos but I don't expect anything except that for quite a while.

Incidentally, I've read on www.consoledatabase.org that the DS is supposed to be a stopgap measure to stall for the REAL next thing in Nintendo's handheld gaming. Gameboy evolution is supposed to link with a Revolution and do... stuff. Nothing that I can really be reliable about in my opinon.

Playing to just about anyone is just that, playing. Who cares if it can start stuff. To have a PS2 emulator that plays commercial games requires me to be able to pop in a majority or many games, and be able to play. We dont have that.

ps2 emus (psemu or something like that) worked for me but when i looked at the fps i cringed.......3 frames per second wtf!!!

    my pc (really basic details):
    3ghz, 1gb ram, nvidia 6600GT.
    ie. pretty damn good.
conclusion: software not advanced enough yet. so we all have to wait for console exclusive games OR buy the console

How would that be a problem? There's no reason that an emulator couldn't just display both screens in the same window.

It would be nice to play nds on a tablet pc, but on a normal pc, humm.... The gameplay will probably be crappy with mouse+keyboard with some games that fully use the touch screen.

They have the most used for the touch screen, if that's what you mean.
