    Default Retro Games

What sites do you guys order your old games from online?

Let me put it another way.

I bought some NES games recently, and, while they all work, they were
not all in the stated condition. Most did not have sleeves, and some had
torn labels. I guess I am wondering where you guys buy your old nes/snes/etc
games from. Also, I can't find any places that have the sleeves for the
    NES/SNES games in-stock.

Anybody know any reputable sites that has this kinda stuff in stock?

    Sweet, thanks.

A little across the way from me, but oh well.
I was actually talking about console games, but another place to get PC
    games from is always welcome.

Although it's not really a shop, there's always eBay. And they have Retro Game specialist shops that sell through it.

Hhahaha don't even get me started on their shipping. My dad ordered christmas gifts on december 4th. On the 20th they gave him an email saying that the gifts will arrive between december 27th and january 12th.

I think the answer to woodman's question depends on how much of a collector you are, and how much you love your games. If you're looking for some decent deals on "complete" import games, I'd suggest eBay or Yahoo Japan auctions (watch out for the shipping fees though). For US games in excellent condition, I haven't gone wrong with eBay yet...just make sure that the pictures in the auctions are authentic, and that the sellers have very high feedback ratings.

I don't really buy a lot of games, just a few every now and then, so i stick to local sections of craigslist. skip shipping and just goto the dudes house with some cast. thinking of swooping up a sega master system this way, but then im always like "am i really going to play this?"

I'd really suggest to check out second hand stores and stuff. Also find out if there are any flea markets in near enough areas. Mine is loaded with super cheap old games and you can see them instead of having to trust what people tell you. No shipping, no hassle. If they don't work go and demand your cash back, make a scene if you must I'm pretty sure people would rather keep their reputation. That's how it is at my local(and very huge)one.

    Good luck!
